Warning…the taste of this cocktail is disgusting – but I don’t drink it for the flavour, I drink it for the health benefits. I don’t have the ingredients raw either, I mix them into a glass of orange juice to help it go down a little. The Odourless Garlic Pearls and Cherry Extract capsules are taken with the drink.

Each of the below pictures are of the products that personally use.

HION Super Greens (Hion Ultimate Blend) x2 teaspoons

Hion Green Powder – ULTIMATE BLEND is a powerful & extremely effective super greens, fruits, roots & seeds blend designed to support optimum health, vitality & wellbeing. By utilising some of the finest ingredients from around the world, this daily Superfood provides a burst of nutrients known to support, balance & energise the body & mind.

Greens powders are dietary supplements designed to help you reach your daily recommended vegetable intake. The produce used in these supplements is generally dried and then ground into powder. Alternatively, some ingredients may be juiced, then dehydrated, or certain components of the whole food may be extracted.

Turmeric (Standard spices from supermarkets) x1 teaspoon

Turmeric, and especially its most active compound curcumin, have many scientifically-proven health benefits, such as the potential to prevent heart disease, Alzheimer’s and cancer. It’s a potent anti-inflammatory and antioxidant and may also help improve symptoms of depression and arthritis.

Ginger (Standard spices from supermarkets)x1 teaspoon

This amazing spice has been found to possess broad-spectrum anti-bacterial, anti-parasitic, anti-viral and anti-inflammatory properties. Ginger also contains many types of powerful antioxidants, including gingerols, shogaols, and zingerones.

Organic Apple Cider Vinegar (Bragg’s) x2 teaspoons

Organic, unfiltered apple cider vinegar (like Bragg’s) also contains “mother,” strands of proteins, enzymes and friendly bacteria that give the product a murky appearance. It’s said “Father of Modern Medicine”, Hippocrates, used apple cider vinegar for cleaning wounds and relieving coughs.

Like other fermented foods, unpasteurised apple cider vinegar contains healthy bacteria; the gut-friendly bacteria that helps to keep your digestive system working properly. Cider vinegar could provide relief for those with stomach problems like indigestion or heartburn.

Garlic Pearls (Nature’s Aid) x1

Several studies suggest that garlic makes platelets (the cells involved in blood clotting) less likely to clump together and stick to artery walls, therefore acting as an anticoagulant and so reducing the risk of heart attacks.

Garlic supplements exert several effects that help keep your heart and blood vessels healthy. When researchers reviewed the results of 80 clinical trials, they concluded that garlic powder significantly reduced blood levels of total cholesterol and bad cholesterol.

Montmorency Cherry Extract (Swiss BioEnergetics) x2

The bright red color of tart cherries comes from it’s rich antioxidants that play a vital role in keeping the body healthy. Tart cherries contain more plant-based antioxidants, called anthocyanins, than sweet cherries. In fact, they contain at least as many anthocyanin compounds as some berries, such as strawberries.

Tart cherries are a rich source of potent antioxidants, such as anthocyanins, flavonoids and melatonin. Antioxidants have many important health benefits, including fighting free radicals, improving heart health and reducing the damage caused by various diseases and environmental toxins.

So that’s it! Look, take what ingredients you wish and even add a few if you’d like. Ultimately, you don’t have to only get your goodness through meals. It’s fine to bundle it all together and get it down the hatch!
